Point Pleasant
The Point Pleasant location 
is a small town of 4,300 that serves as the seat of Mason County (population 27,000 total). The area has long experienced high rates of unemployment and consequent areas of poverty.
ACCOMMODATIONS – Groups stay in the Presbyterian Church in Point Pleasant. Two Sunday school rooms are converted into dormitories with bunk beds to accommodate approximately 18 people each. There are four showers.
KITCHEN – There is a fully equipped kitchen with two stoves, a commercial refrigerator, upright freezer, and microwave, silverware, plates, cups, pots, pans, and cooking utensils.
GROUNDS – Although the church building pretty much takes up the lot, there is space nearby in which to walk, play, and relax.
SURROUNDING AREA – Point Pleasant has a number of pizza places, sandwich shops, and restaurants within a few minutes of the church. Groceries, ice, gas and other necessities are also close.
